When are the special admission periods?
Special admissions are only during the spring and fall.
・Spring period: March 24 to June 4 (Temple lecture hall, abbot’s chamber, bath)
・Fall period: September 25 to December 15 (Temple lecture hall, abbot’s chamber, Founder’s hall)
*Closed for memorial services, etc. Please contact us in advance.
What are the visiting hours?
The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Admission closes at 4:00 p.m.).
Is there a group discount for the admission fee?
The fee is 700 yen per person for groups of 15 or more people.
Is a reservation required when visiting as a group?
An advance reservation is required.
Is it possible to apply for a tax exemption for the admission fee?
The tax will be exempted for persons with a disability certificate or rehabilitation certificate.
Please present the certificates at reception on the day of your visit.
Is there parking?
There is parking. Please follow the instructions of the security personnel.
Can people in wheelchairs be admitted?
Yes they can.
Unfortunately, however, the areas are not barrier free, so there are steps and other obstacles.
Is there a common ticket for special admission and the Jotenkaku Museum?
There is not a common ticket with the Jotenkaku Museum.
